Our Success Stories

Clover's Story

This sweet little guy, Clover, was dumped outside when a passerby stopped to help. After being safely secured, he was taken to the vet and given a quiet, warm place with the basic necessities to rest. Then, after contacting numerous rabbit rescues, his rescuer drove 90 miles to bring him to Bunanza, AND provided a generous donation for his future care.

Due to an aggressive case of fleas, we knew it would be extremely challenging to find a foster family for him. Luckily, one of our incredible volunteers took him into her home while he received his second flea treatment.

While Clover recovered, we shared his harrowing story and a family seeking a companion for their current house bunny took interest. Once healthy, we arranged a speed-date for Clover with Princess Peach - and it was love at first hop ♥

Lorinda, Clover's Adopter

“Just wanted to send an update on Clover - he’s doing great!! He finally won over Princess Peach and they officially moved in together last week. They’re smitten with each other and Peach has really softened her hard exterior with her humans as well, probably from watching Clover be a big love-bun! His days now are full of mutual grooming, binkies and of course SNACKS! Anyway, we love him. Thank you for rescuing him!”

Marco & Moo

Handsome, fun-loving rex rabbit, Marco, came to us as a transfer from another rescue organization in Washington State.

At just over a year old, Marco was practically the whole bun-package! Curious, playful, brave, and super friendly with velvet soft fur. It wasn't long before he met Ms. Moo on a speed date, and he hopped home with her.

From Marco's adopter:

“Great news, Ms. Moo and Mr. Marco have successfully been bonded and have been living together happily for the past few weeks. They are almost always close to each other, and give each other groomies.”
